  7. This archive contains JamTool/JTPhoneBook and JamScan.

  9. What is JamMail?
  10.  
  11. JamMail is the first WPL.library mailer genertor.  What this means is
  12. through the use of the JamMail program, you will be generating a custom
  13. Front end for your system.  No extra code will be in the .wpl file that
  14. isn't required for your system.  If you are running as an end user and
  15. don't answer the phone at all, not a line of code that is for answering
  16. the phone will be created.  Once you have generated your S:JamMail.Wpl
  17. file, you will not need to run the JamMail program again unless you need
  18. to change something.  The S:Setup script launches WPL and loads and runs
  19. the S:JamMail.wpl script that you generated.

  51. Those of you currently running a version of Jammail, please send me a message
  52. with your current wish list and i'll see what I can do.

  54. Note:  Some users are still experiencing random crashes related to the
  55. scheduler.  Usually these are unaccellerated systems, but not always.
  56. For systems having these symptoms, an old version of JamTool (0.28)
  57. is also included in this archive which can be used.

  60. Changes - September 18th -> 27th
  61.  
  62.  - long drawn out battles with the emsi.library trying to get things
  63.    working with Shane connecting to D'Broke and one TrapDoor system.

  65.  - add line/modem option now setting default stack.  Previously no default
  66.    was set, so 0 was used, which caused instant guru when new lines were
  67.    launched.

  72.    files and no bulletins.  Very similar to a straight "FidoNet" frontend

  117.    removing domain/sub-domain information for EMSI handshakes.

  121.  - New and improved super duper (ya :-) outbound EMSI handling.  I haven't
  122.    found a system it doesn't work on.  There doesn't seem to be any timeout
  123.    problems anymore right at the start, so should fix problems connecting
  124.    to slow systems, or those with large banners.

  126.  - wording of "EMSI AKA's string" changed to "EMSI Addresses string", since
  127.    it does require your primary as well.  These addresses are the *ONLY*
  128.    ones that will be sent in an EMSI session.

  132.  - *FIXED* wplemsi.library stack usage that was causing "new" versions of
  133.    Jammail to crash after EMSI sessions.

  135.  - Added stack configuration option so each line can have its own stack
  136.    setting.  10k default, I would not suggest going lower than 5k or so.

  195.    JamMail scheduler that have multiple lines, can enable this to
  196.    allow multiple outbound calls at the same time.  Previously, it
  197.    would only do one.
